Bazyl Stefanski M.C.
Registered Psychologist
We face many hardships in life. Sometimes the difficulties we have are related to our early experiences and the people in our lives. Each individual possesses a unique set of circumstances that require an adaptive and responsive approach. My nearly ten years of varied experience in diverse healthcare settings, with people of all ages, and different levels of wellness contributes to my ability to support you in an individualized way. My trauma informed, person-centered approach to therapy utilises elements of attachment theory, cognitive behavioural techniques, and mindfulness practice, as appropriate, to promote the relationship you have with yourself and others. From a holistic perspective, we will enhance psychological, physical, emotional, and spiritual domains as needed and with your input.
By fostering a therapeutic relationship, I am able to offer an emotionally reparative experience. Based on a foundation of empathy and authenticity we can work collaboratively to identify wellness goals and strategies for addressing your concerns. Together we will travel the journey of healing towards self-actualization and fulfillment.
I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. I obtained a Master of Counselling from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Psychology from MacEwan University.
I am pleased to support individual adults, couples, children, youth, and families to REACH their well-being goals, do not hesitate to call and we will work jointly to achieve them.
